Emily Clarkson might have started quite a fuss at home, when her father found out she chose a hybrid car to travel across Africa instead of something with “more powaa”.
Emily and her friend Tom thought to take a 3000-mile road trip around Africa before returning home and get a job. So how did she end up going with a hybrid Lexus SUV?
Well, thinking of the harsh African environment, they needed a tough terrain vehicle, like the bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser. But due to an “administrative error” of her’s, they ended up with a 2013 Lexus RX 450h, which proved to be a comfortable choice to travel there.
