Just as a singer-songwriter stole former Top Gear tame racing driver Ben Collins and Top Gear Live changed its name to Clarkson, Hammond and May Live, we’re informed that Jeremy will not host Have I Got News For You.
When the Clarkson-Tymon punch-up scandal was in full swing, British tabloids were reporting that Jezza would be hosting an episode of Have I Got News For You later this April. Incidentally, HIGNFY is yet another show aired by the BBC, the same BBC that recently told Jeremy “well, we have to let you go.”

From the get-go, JC presenting a BBC show that doesn’t start with T and ends with op Gear was a far-fetched possibility. Furthermore, everyone's favorite Captain Power along with co-hosts Captain Slow and the Hamster are all out of the British Broadcasting Corporation.

The only thing that keeps them together comes in the form of the remaining dates for Top Gear Live Clarkson, Hammond and May Live. Regarding why Jeremy decided to pull out of Have I Got News For You, The Mirror had a chat with the managing director of the production company that makes HIGNFY happen.

Jimmy Mulville declared: “On reflection, Jeremy Clarkson has decided not to host Have I Got News For You. We fully expect him to resume his hosting duties later in the year.”

But hey, YouTube is full of recordings of older Have I Got News For You shows hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, like the one you can watch just a scroll below.
