Letting Jeremy Clarkson speak freely on any matter that has to do with race, religion, orientation or... people in general is as risky as getting in a small cage with a porcupine. The Top Gear host has upset everybody from Muslims to woman, and he shows no sign of letting up.
This time, it’s has nothing to do either the Leaf or Tesla, as Clarkson has dished it out on the Welsh language.
“I think we are fast approaching the time when the United Nations should start to think seriously about abolishing other languages. What's the point of Welsh, for example? All it does is provide a silly maypole around which a bunch of hotheads can get all nationalistic,” the presenter said in his weekly newspaper column, according to Metro.co.uk.
Top Gear is a brilliant show, but we kind of get the feeling the success has gone to Jeremy’s head, and he is taking it for granted way too much. By the time he retires, he will have absolutely no friends left in our honest opinion.
