Naming a TV show shouldn’t be hard. But when you’re Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond or James May, it is. The three hombres of Top Gear fame are in need of your help because, let’s be frank, they’re ambitious but rubbish. But that's why we love them.
This Autumn, the yet-unnamed car show that will see the three get back in business will start airing on Amazon Prime. Jeremy has a thing for Genesis, a band that brought Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins to fame. Therefore, the old orangutan suggested to name the show Selling England by the Pound, Firth of Fifth or Watcher of the Skies. Dearest Jeremy, no, just no. Signed, everyone.

James, on the other hand, is more to the point than his colleague with The Clarkson, Hammond and May Car Show on Amazon. Nice effort, but it doesn’t have a nice ring to it, nor does it stir the blood when pronounced as Top Gear does. Nonetheless, Richard has the daftest suggestions of the lot: Auto Mate(s) or Tripod. I know, right? These guys are utterly, utterly hopeless.

As such, the responsibility of choosing a name for the car show lies on our shoulders. Dear readers, Jeremy, Richard and James need our help, so let’s get cracking on naming #TheStillVeryMuchUntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you can’t use a name that contains the word “gear.” Don’t ask.

My suggestion is inspired by the name of a Spaghetti Western. Here goes nothing: The Shouty, the Shorty and the Woolly. Now let’s hear your proposal. Oh, and don't forget to tweet it as a reply to Jeremy Clarkson.
