Over the years Jeremy Clarkson built himself a reputation for being blunt and sincere, no matter what manufacturer he offended and what demographic got mad at him. That’s one of the luxuries you can afford when you’re as famous and as good at what you do as he is.
Of course, over the years, BMW didn’t escape his thoughts on their most controversial decisions and got the sharp end of the stick more than once. However, the 4 Series Coupe is far too important for the Bavarians and received way too much attention from the media, not to be reviewed by Jezza.

His thoughts on the car are clear: it’s not good value and it’s not for showing off. However, it does a lot of things better than any of its competitors and gracefully so, in an era where every thing has to be louder, meaner, more aggressive than before, leading human kind into another Dark Age.
