After publishing a list of the ten best cars he has driven this past year, the world’s most hot-headed automotive journalist has revealed the worst cars of 2015 and 2016.
Jeremy Clarkson’s days of testing cars have not ended after his “fracas” with a Top Gear producer. On the contrary, the British journalist held columns in multiple newspapers over the years, and his writing is known to stir up spirits just like his comments made on TV or the radio.

Before talking about the worst cars he’d driven in the past year, Clarkson went ahead and praised the Volkswagen Golf. He explained that the German model is suitable for many needs, and that the days of automotive journalists telling people to “beware” of individual cars are coming to an end, but our jobs still matter because automakers make some cars that are not as good as the others.
The first car on his list is the Vauxhall Astra SRi. Clarkson admits to not getting too much wheel time with the Astra SRi, but he says he did not have much to say about it except for it being “fine for anyone who needed four wheels and a place to sit down.”
The second model on Clarkson’s list is the Infiniti Q30, which the British journalist complained that it “turns diesel into sound,” but it “sure as hell does not turn it into large lumps of power.”
Among the other models Clarkson disliked are the Skoda Superb, Zenos E10 S, Renault Kadjar dCi 130, BMW X1 xDrive25d, the Seat Leon X-Perience, the Nissan GT-R Track Edition, the Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI, and the Hyundai i800. The latter had the verdict “Give me a camel every day.”
