Top Gear’s fans have been experiencing a lot of distress lately with all that rumors of the famous host getting fired because of his recent racism controversies. After having BBC Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans recently tweeting he is not about to replace him on Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson took the matter in his own hands and wrote he’ll even front a new series starting next year, in the latest issue of Top Gear magazine.
The Jeremy Clarkson scandal restarted ever since the director of BBC TV Danny Cohen outlined his disagreement with the way the Top Gear host used politically incorrect gaffes, at a press conference in Edinburgh in August.

In case you haven’t been following the whole story, we’ll take a second to remind you. Cohen was referring to Top Gear’s host using the racially-offensive word “slope” in Burma Top Gear special and his apparent mumbling of the N-word in a unbroadcast sequence.

Well, all that rumors obviously turned both sides in media reports, which is why it was about time for the famous TV presenter to intervene. Clarkson revealed that a new series will start early next year - fronted by him.

He explained everything pretty clear, writing in the latest issue of Top Gear magazine: “There has been a lot of stuff in the newspapers recently about the future of Top Gear. Some seem to think there isn’t one. But I can assure you, there is. There are also those who think I won’t be part of it. Well, sorry, But I am. Unless I am eaten by aa pack of wild dogs before the next series starts early next year.”

Well, that is obviously good news.
