So The Stig has found a new job with The Getaway Car and Top Gear is now in Chris Evans' hands. Where does that leave Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May, and their new car show with the US-based Amazon Prime video on demand service? Her Majesty's United Kingdom, naturally...
In our previous Clarkson story, we highlighted that the Amazon-funded car show is a contract signed with an American company, but this won't affect the Britishness of the content. Our gut feeling was spot on as autoevolution discovered that "The New Clarkson Hammond and May Car Show" posted four jobs on the popular Grapevine Jobs recruitment site.

The open positions are for Production Manager, Producer, Post Production Coordinator, and Assistant Producers / Researchers / Runners, all jobs based in West London. Our assumption that Jeremy, Richard and James will rent a building (a.k.a. production office) in London was correct. That leaves the three amigos and executive producer Andy Wilman to find a vacant airfield and rent that as well as a substitute for the Dunsfold-based Top Gear test track in Surrey.

If you're planning on applying for one of those jobs, we're keeping our fingers crossed. Mind you, Grapevine Jobs is "the best source for jobs in broadcast and media," a recruitment platform that asks for £120 to list a job. What that means to us is that Jeremy's band of mavericks needs proper talent, not some young guns with more attitude than talent.

At the end of the day, a job listing that reads "we live or die depending on the quality of our ideas" and "an impressive reputation to protect," is a job worthy for the most talented production peeps out there. A little bird told us that even when he's hungry, cold, and stressed, Jeremy won't aim a punch at you because he has learned his lesson after the punch-up with Oisin Tymon and the subsequent demise from Top Gear.
