The crazy trio from BBC’s Top Gear are currently quite busy promoting a new format that has them performing live in front of various audiences around the world. We’ve seen them in action in Australia and other parts of the world but as it turns out, they’re getting ready to do the same in their homeland.
To promote their new endeavor, Top Gear’s Youtube channel now has a couple of new videos on it showing the guys doing all sorts of crazy stuff, from arguing about the Stig drifting too much to doing various challenges. One of them involved a BMW E36 M3.

I’ve got to say I wasn’t impressed

I realize it was all done just for fun but, honestly, since I’m a big BMW fan I couldn’t just get over what Jeremy did to that M3. From the looks of things, the car is in a mint condition and I’m pretty certain that hitting those chairs with that kind of speed left at least a couple of dents in the bonnet and the bumper.

Oh, you didn’t get to see what we’re talking about? You can, in the video we posted below. Basically, Jeremy wants to prove that he can go up to 60 mph and back to zero in around 100 meters (yards) without reaching the first row of seats. Fortunately, those seats were empty when they filmed this thing... Check it out!

The Background

The Top Gear Live concept will be brought to UK residents starting next year. In this new concept, the three hosts are involved in a series of challenges that are performed live in front of the audience. Tickets are now on sale and you can buy them, even though the first representation will take place in Liverpool on February 13. Prices start at GBP38.50 and can go up to over GBP100.
