Jennifer Lopez and her close friend Leah Remini got pretty shaken after a drunk driver rear-bumped them as they were sitting at a red light, today. The 45-year old artist was sitting in the passenger seat when the accident happened, but seemed rather thankful nobody was injured.
The famous artist and her friend also had Jenny's two kids riding along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu when they stopped at a light. According to TMZ, a small pickup hit them from behind and then took off. Officers raced to the scene and found the driver a short distance away, with the fellow turning out to be under the influence. The man was arrested and charged for DUI and hit and run.
JLo quoted: “Sitting at a light. Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok.”
Even though her newly released A.K.A. album wasn’t that much of a boom, it would seem JLo is once again back in the spotlight with her new video featuring Iggy Azalea already reaching almost 40 million views. The song is part of the album, which was released in June.
Now, we still have a couple of unanswered questions though. First of all, we don’t quite understand why JLo was sitting in the passenger seat, considering she claims it's her new ride. Secondly, and this is where we’ll need your help, what car is it?
