When people think of carpooling there’s usually something bad about it, but when you get a gifted comedian like James Corden doing it things get rather interesting. You could also call it mesmerizing with this particular case, considering we’re looking at an amazement live performance of the beautiful and gifted Jennifer Hudson.
Ever since CBS announced that Craig Ferguson is stepping back, and James Corden took the lead of the late-night television talk show, things seem to have worked out. Fans are getting used to the new guy, and it even seems the show is growing in proportions.

One of the show’s specifics is when the 36-year-old comedian is introducing his guests. Singing is a big deal on "The Late, Late Show," and carpooling karaoke is one of the ways Corden gets his A-list helpers unleash the “beast” within. The actor is inviting guests into his car as he takes them to the show, but instead of a regular ride it usually ends up as a two-men show.

After having Mariah Carey for some spontaneous singing, Jennifer Hudson took the passenger seat the other day, and things got truly interesting.

Not only did the Dreamgirls star play along and start singing her own song as the comedian would join her, but she even proved she isn’t afraid of a little improvisation. If you’re not into her music, we’re pretty sure you’ll find the moment when the actress sings her order at a drive-through delightful.

Editor’s note: 1. singing while driving is not the best idea, but it sure can be a lot of fun if some precautions are taken; 2. we knew Hudson is a great singer, but who knew Corden can sing that high? 3. We like carpooling karaoke
