The Jeep Wrangler is currently surfing on a wave of sales, with the Chrysler Group having sold almost 42,000 units of the off-roader through April. The figure can be translated as a 31 percent increase compared to the same period of last year.
This large demand makes the Wrangler the second best-selling Jeep model after the Grand Cherokee and the fifth-best-selling vehicle of the Chrysler Group, following the Ram pickup, Grand Cherokee, Dodge Caravan, and Chrysler 200. In addition to that, the vehicle has registered hefty sales on overseas markets, with its success spreading further and further.

Chrysler will skip the July 4 two-week vacation that was scheduled for maintenance and retooling at the Toledo factory where the Wrangler is built, as the company wants to be able to meet the demand for the vehicle.
