Have you heard 2016 marks the 75th anniversary of Jeep? In case you didn’t, the American company ensures you will hear about it by offering special editions of literally all of its models.
Even though the JL Wrangler is the Wrangler to look forward to, the JK Wrangler in 75th Anniversary form is a tough cookie to crack. On sale in the UK from £34,765 OTR for the two-door and £36,435 for the four-door, this special edition comes with a plethora of goodies.

But most importantly, the Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary boasts significant visual enhancements which give it a unique character. Take, for example, the 18-inch bronze-finished alloy wheels and front grille. Those alone make the off-road legend stand out in the crowd.

"Today, Jeep SUVs continue to deliver 4x4 leadership, as well as fuel efficiency, world-class craftsmanship, and premium on-road dynamics. In honor of the brand's 75th anniversary, we have created eye-catching, special-edition models of each vehicle in our lineup that celebrate the unparalleled history of the legendary Jeep brand," said Mike Manley, head honcho at Jeep.

Based on the Overland trim level and equipped with side airbags at the front and a 3.73 rear axle ratio, the 2016 Jeep Wrangler 75th Anniversary comes with many more unique stylistic differences.

Starting from the body-colored dual top to the Mopar slush mats, the special edition model also boasts bronze and orange Jeep badging, dedicated 75th Anniversary badge, “1941” embossed in the leather with fabric inserts heated seats (available in black or saddle brown and tangerine), and bronze accents on the grab handles and air vents.

Regarding standard equipment, this JK Wrangler comes as standard with satellite navigation, an Alpine premium sound system, and a deep-tinted sunscreen glasshouse. If you want one, you’d better make haste about it.

As per Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK Ltd., only 85 units of the Wrangler in anniversary clothes have been allocated for the British market.
