The 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari, an event that takes place in Moab, Utah, will mark the public debut of two new concepts from the American brand.
The two concepts prepared by Jeep for this year’s Moab Easter Safari are called Wrangler “Trailcat” and Jeep “Crew Chief.” The pair is not the only novelty Jeep has prepared for the event held in Utah, as other five new vehicles will be showcased at the famed off-roading event.

The two concepts that have been teased by Jeep might not enter production, but these one-offs will draw a crowd.

Jeep’s press release about the two concepts skimps out on words and details, as they prefer to let everyone simmer in curiosity until March 19, the first day of the 50th annual Easter Jeep Safari.

In the past, the automaker showcased concepts at Moab events, the place where Jeep owners and enthusiasts meet every year. Also, no, they do not just admire each other’s cars, but go off-roading on the local trails as well.

If we look at the first concept, the Jeep Wrangler Trailcat, we will notice an insane shade of green on the body, accompanied by black ornaments. The hood seems significantly longer than on current production cars, while the front headlights have a “street-fighter” look, as two-wheeled enthusiasts would describe this particular design.

And if our expectations are to be met, the Jeep Wrangler Trailcat features the 707 HP engine from the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and the Challenger SRT Hellcat. It does not take much attention to notice the massive hood vents, as well as the “cat” in the name, which leads us to believe that the American brand has stuffed the supercharged HEMI V8 in a Wrangler.

Meanwhile, the second Jeep concept for this year’s Easter Moab event is called “Crew Chief,” which makes us think about the Jeep J12 Concept pickup truck, but it must be an updated version of last year’s Jeep Chief Concept. The latter was a rugged off-roader with retro looks, and the sketch of this concept car seems to suggest the same from the new exhibit.
