Jeep Lineup for the Paris Auto Show

American manufacturer Jeep announced yesterday the lineup of vehicles which it plans to bring to the Paris Auto Show next month, with several premieres for the European market being planned, in terms of both engines and models. The main attraction of the Jeep booth in Paris will be the new Grand Cherokee, which makes its Old Continent debut at the show. The Cherokee will be accompanied by veterans Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, which bring with them new interior and exterior treatments, but also two new diesel engines intended for the markets outside of North America. For the first time, the Jeep brand will showcase the first application of a Start/Stop technology within the Chrysler group. It will also be featured on the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models. “The Jeep brand’s legendary heritage has made it one of the most recognized brands in the world. The Jeep brand continues to evolve with new vehicles, designs, powertrains and technology,” Mike Manley, Jeep CEO said in a release. “We are proud to bring the newest Jeep innovations to Paris, including the Company’s first application of Stop/Start technology that helps improve Jeep Wrangler’s fuel economy by up to 13 percent, as well as the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee, designed and built to answer the needs of customers here in Europe and around the world.” autoevolution will be attending the 2010 Paris Auto Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
