Since the ‘Jeep’ name isn’t really associated with the actual brand in Europe, being wrongly considered a type of vehicle, Jeep have decided to sponsor famous Italian football club Juventus Torino (Turin). This is definitely linked to Jeep’s connection with Fiat, and the fact that Turin is the home of the Fiat, and Juventus is by far the best team in the city - you can kind of see where this is going.
The name has made its appearance on their home jersey, and it will be present on it for the 2012/2013 Italian football championship. To celebrate the association, Jeep has organized an exclusive ‘customized’ event at the Summer Village, where it will unveil yet another edition of an already existing model (not a Wrangler, this time, though), the flagship Grand Cherokee, called ‘S Limited’.
Along with the unveiling of the flagship Grand Cherokee, Jeep will also be organizing various activities, including beach football tournaments, ‘exciting’ test drives (their words, not ours), and “several outdoor activities”.
