At home in America, Jeep jumped the gun on its 80th anniversary celebrations way back in September 2020 with the introduction of the namesake special edition models across the entire range. Now it’s time to check out the European versions, though one shouldn’t expect the company to cross the Atlantic with its complete roster.
While in the United States fans can have the 80th Anniversary edition for each model in the family, the European specification will only become available for the Renegade, Compass, Wrangler and Gladiator. Probably to make up for the lost time in between the reveals, Jeep said the Renegade 80th Anniversary is already on sale at dealerships across Europe.

Still, no pricing information was shared for this version, though Jeep did promise that more celebratory models will be released this spring, as the special edition guise will become available on the Compass, Wrangler, and Gladiator, as well.

According to the U.S. automaker, each series’ limited-edition model was created based on the most popular version and the four share unique features such as “80th Anniversary” logos, Granite Crystal details, cloth or leather seat upholstery with a diamond pattern and tungsten stitching, high-gloss black details, as well as specific logo tags on the seats and floor mats.

The company didn’t forget to add a set of bespoke alloy wheels, and Jeep is offering the special edition both with the standard crop of internal combustion engines as well as the newly introduced 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrains.

Novelties include the addition of updated content geared towards the tech-savvy crowd, such as 8.4- to 10.1-inch touchscreens, DAB radio and Uconnect services alongside the navigation with smartphone integration.

Jeep is also introducing “Wave,” the company’s new loyalty program and has also announced the 80th Anniversary version will mark the debut of the “New Compass” on the Old Continent, with standard versions set to arrive much later this year.
