Jay Leno Rides BMW K1600GT-Powered T-Rex

Started as a rather wild project back in the day, the T-Rex reverse trike is now a fully-developed road terror, and we were delighted to see Jay Leno and Campagna Motors VP of Sales Michel Paquette discuss about this amazing vehicle.
It looks like the BMW-powered Campagna T-Rex will be a much better option than the Kawasaki model, as the Canadian manufacturer now has a deal with the Germans and can source engines a lot easier and cheaper. And with joint engineering operations for the special K1600GT, things are really looking well.

The gearbox was tuned and equipped with a reverse gear, while the shifting remained sequential, just like riding a bike. The K1600GT 6-cylinder engine delivers 160 HP and massive torque, and it's all usable now, thanks to the new chassis architecture.

The silencers are also BMW, and for California, it seems like they're the way to go. For other states, custom can could be a nifty addition. Registered as a motorcycle, the Campagna T-Rex has a rollbar, so riding it in California does not require that the occupants wear helmets.

It's fast, it's brutal, sounds great and seemingly drives even better. The price might be a drawback for the Campagna T-Rex becoming highly-popular, as $62,000 (€46,720) is not exactly the cheapest machine. But if cool is what you're after, the T-Rex is worth every penny.
