Jay Leno Invites Henrik Fisker Over to Talk About the Karma EV

The Fisker Karma has already been on sale for a while now, and despite the fact that production is currently stopped due to a battery pack shortage, there is still demand for the range-extender luxury EV. Now, Henrik Fisker has brought one of his Karmas to Jay Leno’s Garage, where Jay does a comprehensive overview of the car, and what it’s about.
Its main selling point is the superb styling, courtesy of Fisker’s design expertise, yet some also buy it for its green credentials, and while it may not be that green when driven on both the gasoline engine and electric motor, it’s still green enough when in full-EV mode.

Furthermore, the car’s interior, while nicely-designed and trimmed in high quality materials, is still not on par with what the established mainstream manufacturers are doing, as some of the fit and finish is still somewhat mediocre. However, since Fisker is looking to partner up with a large automaker, in order to share their green tech and improve the quality of their cars, the upcoming production version of the smaller Atlantic will undoubtedly be a much better built car.
