Jay Leno Goes for a Drive in Batman's Tumbler

As iconic movie cars go, the Batmobile is us there with the Bullitts and the Astons. But which Batmobile are we talking about? There have been many a lot of movie cars, but none are as menacing and as cool as the Tumbler.

Technically never called a "Batmobile", the Tumbler made its debut in 2005, as Christoher Nolan reinvented Batman as "The Dark Knight" a more realistic hero, compared to the Disney-like versions for the 90s.

The trilogy of films has been finished, and while we wait to see the dreaded Ben Affleck version of Batman, we have good reason to remember what made the Tumbler great.

Jay Leno is one of the few "civilians" who got to test the Tumbler down the road. If you've ever wanted to know what it's like to drive a crime-fighting vehicle down the road, this is your chance to find out.
