Last summer, Jay Leno became the first man not related to McLaren who got to drive their P1 hypercar. Well, if you were wondering what Leno is preparing for the 2014 season, you should know that he has just received his P1.
It only comes natural that this is the first McLaren P1 landing on American soil and the video below shows the car being delivered. With this occasion, you’ll get to see the proper manner in which such a job is handled.

For instance, the delivery truck lowers its bed and then raises the top to set the hybrid McLaren free in the same fashion that would see a mother bring her baby to sleep. The P1 is fully covered, but its lively yellow hue can’t be hidden from our view. This is probably dressed in what the British carmaker calls Volcano Yellow.

The car is being taken inside the McLaren Beverly Hills dealership, with the process being just as smooth as the aforementioned part. Leno subsequently arrives to take delivery of it. Fret not P1 and Jay Leno fans, we shall probably see quite a lot of action related to this in a future episode of Jay Leno’s Garage.
