Jay Leno Donates First Customer Fiat 500 for Charity

Comedian and car lover Jay Leno joined up with Defence Secretary Leon Panetta and Army Chief of Staff Ray Odiero to auction off the second Fiat 500 sold to a customer in America for the benefit of Fisher House, a charity that provides housing for families of wounded veterans.
We just wanted to show this video of the actual car going up for auction to show that Jay Leno really has a big heart and does what he can for those in need. He famously took a pay cut to keep people on staff for his show.

The Prima Editione Fiat 500 sold for an amazing $350,000 (€284,0000). That’s about 21 times more than a regular Fiat 500. But this is a great charity and a great way to show you also care about the wounded soldiers.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
