Jay Leno must have made it his personal goal to see everything and talk to everybody this year at Pebble Beach, because his coverage of all the concepts has been excellent.
Among the cars on Concept Lawn was the Infiniti Emerg-E, an electric mid-engined sportscar built on a Lotus Evora platform and sporting two electric motors capable of delivering 402 horsepower for a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around 4 seconds. The concept is also a preview for future Infiniti models and their styling.
Next up, it’s the Style Coupe Concept, making its US debut after its global unveiling at the 2012 Auto China in April. The concept is a preview for a new entry-level sedan called the CLA, which will slot under the C-Class in the US lineup.
The four-door coupe is built on the same platform as the A- and B-Class and in the case of this concept is powered by the 211 hp engine from the A250, coupled to an all-wheel drive 4Matic system.
