Jay Leno and Reggie Watts Take a Closer Look at Bisimoto's Electric Porsche 935

Whether it’s the thousand-horsepower minivan or the ultra-light 850 HP Porsche 911, Bisimoto Engineering is a name that a lot of petrolheads are familiar with. His wild projects have gotten a lot of attention in the automotive world and have boggled the mind of car enthusiasts for quite a while now.

It would seem that whatever the man behind it all, Bisi Ezerioha, touches turns to gold. Such was the case with a Porsche 935, a true icon of the brand. Usually, the car community is not that hot on electric vehicles, but sometimes things can deviate from the ordinary.

Well, more so than you would think if Jay Leno, who is somewhat of a car guy guru, pays attention to that project. And that’s exactly what just happened, as he took a closer look at Bisi’s one-of-a-kind Porsche. However, he did not do that alone. Jay Leno decided to have a Porsche enthusiast join him in reviewing the electrified 935.

Luckily, he did not choose a Porsche purist but comedian and bandleader Reggie Watts, who brought a really positive vibe to the video. Paying close attention as Bisi was explaining everything that was done to the car, he seemed really excited to climb in the Momo bucket seats and take the very racing-inspired electric 935 for a ride.

Laughing as he was invited to do so and joking about fighting Jay Leno or the steering wheel, the test drive began. With the former TV Show host riding shotgun, Reggie takes the car down a twisty mountain road. When asked if he thinks the car feels impersonal, he quickly remarked how visceral the road feeling was.

However, before ending the video, Jay Leno took the time to ask the biggest question of all. Does it still feel like a Porsche? He asked the comedian if he could tell what kind of vehicle this was if not told beforehand. The answer was a mixed bag, as it was not definitive, with Reggie simply saying he was getting some Porsche vibes.
