Japanese Stop Motion Car Chase Has Everything

Because Uncle Sam is censoring everything from commercials to movies, you rarely get to see a car chase like in the days of Bullitt. You can't even go over the speed limit or drift a car through the corners in an ad, not even if it's an M3.

Fortunately, we know a way to have a car chase on a really small budget without endangering lives and property.

We found this cool video by Youtuber LUXE37 of a Japanese car chase which goes all-retro with miniatures of automobiles from the 70s and 80s. This chase has maybe a hundred crashes, explosions, plenty of humor and fake V8 sounds.

The clip even has shots of people getting run over and scale fire engines, not to mention some retro scenery of a Japanese town. Not being familiar with some of the all Japanese cars from the era, we'd like to ask you guys if you know any V8 muscle cars from that time that have horns just like The General Lee from Dukes of Hazard.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
