You know how they say we know more about the surface of the moon than the bottom of the ocean? Well, Japan is a little bit like that. The country has one of the biggest auto markets in the world, buy yet most of them are unknown to us.
Did you know, for example, that the Mazda6 is call the Atenza in Japan, built since 2002 at a factory in Hiroshima? Do you know that Infiniti and Lexus vehicles are sold as Nisan and Toyota ones, or that box cars are popular?

This next clip published by ACCtv was shot at the GSO car show at Hiroshima. it features a lot of air runner suspension systems that hunker everything to the ground. You even get some foreign cars, such as the Mercedes E55 AMG or a VW Beetle Cabrio, but most are domestic.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
