Jamiroquai's Jay Kay Checks Out the New Ferrari 458 Spider

Jay Kay, leader of Jamiroquai has a thing for fast cars. He’s had most of the modern day Ferrari and Lamborghinis in his collection, and he also likes to go fast, as he’s big on celebrity races and trackdays.
The supercar enthusiast recently visited the Ferrari factory in Maranello, where he had a little one-on-one action with the new drop-top Prancing Horse, the 458 Spider that was revealed in Frankfurt recently.

Jay Kay says his love of Ferrari comes from the exclusivity of the brand. His passion dates to his childhood years, when the their cars seemed to have something that others didn’t. In the 70s, cars like the Daytona looked god-like and unobtainable.

Jay also gets to ride shotgun with Fernando Alonso and they even do donuts in the 458 Italia. Looks like he’s going to buy one, if he hasn’t already.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
