In the era of plug-in hybrids, one company decided to launch a very large, very powerful luxury saloon and we love them for it. We're talking about Jaguar and the new XJR, a 550 PS super saloon with performance to match any German rival.
The stunning example of British engineering will make its official debut on home soil at the 2013 Motor Expo, in the middle of London. The show will open its doors first thing next week and will also be an excellent opportunity to see the F-Type, together with examples of the XF and XK.

"June is an exciting month for Jaguar in the UK. We are taking multiple opportunities to present to prospective customers the very latest in our exciting product range," Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK. “The recent growth of Jaguar Land Rover is a result of the ongoing investment the company makes annually in product development. The launches of F-TYPE, XJR and a new powertrain in the XF highlight the desire of the company to meet the needs of a diverse car buying audience in its home market."

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
