Audi has just unveiled the RS6 Avant for the 2013 model year. It’s powered by a brand new 4-liter twin-turbo V8 which produces 560PS and gets it to 100 km/h in an amazing 3.9 seconds. Meanwhile, Mercedes has the mental CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake and the existing E63 AMG to rely on, while BMW doesn’t make a real M5 wagon any more, but it does offer plenty of performance with the M550d, which comes standard with all-wheel drive.
But Jaguar also knows a thing or two about making cool estate cars. They’ve already launched the XF Sportbrake and their X-Type had all-wheel drive before it was cool.

So, we wondered what it would be like if Jaguar made a really fast wagon. This is a rendering of what the Sportbbrake would look like if it needed to blitz the Nurburgring. It’s quite obviously based on the recently unveiled XFR-S super sports saloon, which packs 550 PS instead of the usual 510 PS.
