The Jaguar XF is a well-accepted and reliable car, and since its launch a few years ago, not a lot has gone wrong with it. Well, now, US owners of some 2010 to 2012 model year sedans, powered by the 5.0-liter V8 engine will be getting notified by Jaguar about a recall.
It reportedly affects 4,195 cars, which may have a fuel tank outlet flange that could crack, causing a leak which could even ignite if temperatures are hot enough. Jaguar also reports that nobody was injured so far in any incidents related tho this issue, and that they will begin notifying the owners of the affected cars.

As is usually the case, Jaguar will fix the problem free of charge, replacing the faulty fuel outlet flanges at any authorized dealership - it is due to begin in the first week of December.
