The Walpole Awards for Excellence took place last night in London, with a panel of 60 judges deciding the winners in 10 categories. The British Luxury Overseas Award is presented annually to the company judged to have achieved outstanding success in raising its profile and business overseas through export, expanding retail presence, increasing sales and special events in the year 2012.

Jaguar is a company in full transformation right now, having just introduced the F-TYPE sportscar. Next week, they will also launch their fastest sedan ever, the 550 horsepower XFR-S that will bow at the Los Angels Auto Show.

“Our thanks to Walpole for this fantastic award, and recognition for the great strides our brand is making in the global luxury car market.  The current Jaguar product range is our strongest ever, with every car espousing our core values of seductive design, innovative technology and sporting performance,” said Jaguar Global Brand Director, Adrian Hallmark.

“With £2 billion invested in product development at Jaguar Land Rover this year alone, there is much more of the same quality to come from this great British brand,” Hallmark added.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
