Jaguar has revealed a clay model of the C-X16 concept car, with this coming in 1:1 scale to the Clerkenwell Design Week, which is being held in London from today to May 24th.
The C-X16 clay model is joined by three special sculptures, which aim to showcase the past, present and future of Jaguar. These were commissioned by Julian Thomson and painted by two designers from the Jaguar design team, being based on the bonnets of an E-Type, C-X16 and C-X75. Jaguar is also displaying the 1966 XJ13 one-off, as well as an XFR and an XKR-S at the event.

'Jaguar is one of the most technologically advanced companies in the field of product development but we still believe in the sense of artistry.  Emotional connections are at the heart of our vehicles and the traditional process of working with clay with some of the best sculptors in the world allows us to refine them into the purest surfaces, said Julian Thomson, Advanced Design Director, Jaguar Cars.
