Instead of the teasers they had been feeding us for the last few weeks, Jaguar has finally released full and uncropped pictures of their hot new XFR-S, just ahead of its debut at the 2012 Los Angeles International Auto Show. It is the most powerful and fastest sedan ever built by the automaker, and it sure looks like it, with various bolt-on bits which make it look considerably meaner than the regular XFR.
It gets a redesigned front bumper, featuring larger intakes, with carbon fiber inserts, which are also found in the grille, as well as the wing part of the rear spoiler, which is entirely fashioned out of the material. It also gets more aggressive bodywork all-round, including beefy side skirts which look quite good, in combination with the new-design rims fitted to the car as standard.

The car is expected to keep its 5.0-liter supercharged V8 under the bonnet, with power going up to (or just under) 550 hp, putting it on par with the new F10 BMW M5, at least on paper. However, there is one thing that bugs us regarding the look of the car, because all of the bolt-on bits which have been added to it make it look like a hot Australian sedan, like the hot versions of the Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore, so the car will be a hit among wealthy Australians who want a V8 muscle car, but for whom the two aforementioned domestic alternatives are just too mainstream.
