Jaguar have just announced the introduction of the XFR Speed Pack, at the Moscow Motor Show. It includes a new front splitter, as well as a larger rear spoiler. However, the biggest and most important addition is the increase in the car’s top speed, by altering its limiter - it can now crack 174 mph (280 km/h).
Aside from the increase in top speed, the car also gets new transmission software which alters the car’s behavior and makes it slightly sportier. Another interesting addition from Jaguar is the introduction of a new all-wheel drive system which is now available for both the XF and XJ, exclusively on cars fitted with the firm’s new supercharged 3.0-liter V6 which makes 340 hp.

Thankfully, Jaguar say the system is rear-biased so keen drivers will have no problems with excessive understeer, like some rivals get when fitted with similar systems. Both these additions will be available on 2013 model-year cars.
