BorgWarner has recently announced that it will supply the turbocharging technology for the upcoming new generation of Jaguar Land Rover petrol and diesel four-cylinder engines, which are set to debut in 2015
We are talking about advanced downsizing, so the engineering requirements are incredibly high, which is why BorgWarner is building a new engineering center, as well as expanding its 35-year old production site in Bradford, UK In addition, the company is introducing a master’s degree program in turbocharger engineering at the University of Huddersfield

"With our investment in local production and testing, BorgWarner will provide Jaguar Land Rover with fast-to-market, high-quality advanced technologies adapted to their specific needs," said Frederic Lissalde, president and general manager, BorgWarner Turbo Systems

The move comes after Jaguar Land Rover recently announced a massive investment for new products and facilities over the course of the next four years
