Jaguar Land Rover has made an official announcement they have plans to recruit more than 1,000 members of staff at its advanced manufacturing plant in Solihull. This is all part of the automotive company’s promise to bring 40 new cars, technologies and products over the next five years.
We’ll remind you that the Solihull plant is where the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Discovery and Defender are built. But the facility also focuses on the manufacturing process itself - tooling fitting, electrics.

"This is great news for Solihull. We shall be increasing the plant workforce by more than 25%. We have a loyal and committed workforce at Solihull. These jobs are well paid with great benefits. We provide high quality training and development for all our employees and we expect to receive many thousands of applications,” said Des Thurlby, HR Director at Jaguar Land Rover.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
