British company Jaguar Land Rover is planning to spend £11 billion (€12.9 / $16.5 billion) over the next four years on new products and fast global expansion.
According to chief executive Ralf Speth, Jaguar Land Rover, which is already building cars in India, is looking to expand production to China and even Saudi Arabia, but without cutting UK investments.

"You have to invest in big amounts of seed in order to reap the harvest, which is what we are doing," Speth told Autocar. “We see the cycle as powering growth. The amounts we are investing are very large, but I think we can keep that momentum. It is not a case of investing now and then pausing; as we invest in product and deliver more cars, I expect we can keep going forward at the same rate."

Besides going global, JLR is also planning a new family of compact sedans to rival with BMW's 3 Series and Audi's A4. The massive investment will be divided in £2.75 billion (€3.23 / $4.14 billion) infusions each year for the next four years.
