Jaguar F-Type Imagined as Mad Max Fury Road War Machine

After recently indulging in Mad Max Fury Road viewing pleasures, it would be impossible for me to say the vehicle line-up in the motion picture left me unsatisfied. Anybody who’s not happy enough with a hefty group of supercharged V8s wrapped in (mostly) Aussie metal should simply avoid this movie.
Nevertheless, as the gaming industry has taught us, add-on packs are never a bad idea and we’re here to show you what the fourth instalment of the apocalyptic franchise would look like when adorned with a Jaguar F-Type.

This is, of course, a rendering, but we have to admit the F-Type Coupe does have a proper death machine appearance. The image, which comes via carwow, doesn’t seem to miss any detail, with these guys also giving a Skoda Octavia and a Nissan Qashqai a similar treatment.

Speaking of the little things, the way in which Fury Road pays a nod to the Dune Series, which is nothing short of a festival of details, is one of the aspects I enjoyed most about the movie.

It all starts up front, where the rendering beats Jaguar Land Rover’s SVO division to developing a supercharger upgrade for the sportscar. And while the F-Type sounds brilliant even when animated by a V6, imagine this one has a free-flow exhaust in the spirit of Max’s original Interceptor.

A 50-cal machine gun, harpoons and other instruments of driving torture complete the landscape.

Thanks to the fact that I enjoy this rendering, I’m somehow glad this car wasn’t used in the movie. And that’s because my greatest gripe with Fury Road and the series in general (excepting the original) is that the Interceptor gets killed off almost immediately after the action kicks off.

PS: since this F-Type comes with a more generous ground clearance, as well as with offroad-ready wheels and tires, it could just as well serve as a Jaguar F-Pace.
