Ever notice how time seems to slow down as a really hot woman in a black evening dress walks into the room? The Jaguar F-Type is such a sexy looking car that it pretty much deserves the same attention.
Although the new Jag just entered production a month ago, we know it since September 2011. Then, Jaguar showed it as a C-X16 Concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show and blew people away with their design. It looked like a little bit like the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante, combined with some Porsche 911 and BMW Z4. The C-X16 was also a coupe, with a hatchback design, but for production, the Brits decided to make it a roadster first.

Now, patent images have emerged which suggest the hardtop is on the way. The shape of the roof is exactly the same as the 2011 concept, and so are the wheels. Jaguar was always going to offer the F-Type as a coupe, which is expected to go on sale about a year from now.
