Jaguar F-Pace Campaign Arrives With “World-Exclusive” Soundtrack Called “Lies”

Jaguar Land Rover recently announced its intention to lend its support to creative talent. Its first order of business was to introduce a new Jaguar F-Pace campaign centered around both emerging and established artists. That’s all fine and dandy but was no one cerebral enough to point out they’re trying to sell cars with a “world-exclusive campaign soundtrack” featuring a song called “Lies”?!

Seriously, if this little mistake becomes viral, they’re going to wish they never named the new Jaguar F-Pace campaign “Hard to Forget” in the first place...

This is probably what happens when British automakers entrust their creative capabilities to an American DJ and producer. Sure, we’re kidding right here, but this would easily qualify as a fine Boston Tea Party type of irony across time and space from DJ and producer MK and his featured artist, Raphaella.

Anyways, on a (slightly more) serious note, we’re eager to find out what else is in store for Jaguar’s F-Pace from the other creative talents from across the fashion, broadcasting, and photography industries. Hopefully, they’re not going to come up with ripped jeans-inspired upholstery ideas, or something else along those lines.

On the other hand, we’re going to get tired soon of hearing that “Lies” track from DJ Producer MK and Raphaella because the company promises it is going to be featured “across the entire series of films showcasing Jaguar’s performance SUV.”

It’s been a lot of fun working with Jaguar on the Hard to Forget series. I've always been a car guy and love all aspects of design - I studied Architecture before I got into music - I'm excited for everyone to see the commercial, and to hear my new song,” MK, who is also a record label owner, neatly explains.

Not that the latter detail matters too much, but at least we know he's not going broke if Jaguar decides to break ties... probably when they discover that selling SUVs is a bit harder when someone in the background is calling a melodious bull$*^#.

As far as the Jaguar F-Pace is concerned, the British crossover was updated last fall, and is available in dealerships with a starting price of £40,860 in its home market; that's around $56,017 at the current exchange rates.

We’re not going to be telling any lies, though, when explaining the updated SUV will arrive sporting a subtle nip and tuck on the outside. That rides along with a thoroughly revamped interior focusing on the Pivi experience, as well as a new family of engines that are also electrified via MHEV and PHEV technology.
