They might have not positioned among the first three in the competition, but Team Sky did manage to make quite a good appearance at this year’s Tour of Flanders. In case you missed the race two days ago, we’ll remind you it was won by Alexander Kristoff in the sprint before Niki Terpstra. Greg Van Avarmaet finished third.

Sure, we’re not that crazy about cycling tournaments, but since it involves speeds and competition it does get our attention now and then. Anyway, all of Team Sky’s racers were riding a new model specially designed for the event, and that is what we want to talk about for a second.

In addition to the previous Dogma F8, the first collaborative project for Jaguar, Pinarello and Team Sky, the Dogma K8-S was enhanced with a new lightweight suspension system (DSS 1.0, Dogma Suspension System) and a flexible flat carbon chain stays. These new features create a pioneering suspension pivot in the rear triangle to ensure perfect riding comfort over rough terrains.

Taking key insights from the pioneering aerodynamics & technology-leading work on the Dogma F8 [...] Jaguar’s engineers have applied their advanced aerodynamics knowledge and experience in ride and vibration analysis, to help create an overall performance increase of 4.6% and 50% improved comfort for the riders over rough terrains from the previous Dogma K model,” the automaker explains.

Further details can be consulted in the press release listed below and don’t forget to check out the video. Unfortunately, there is no price tag listed, but we have a feeling it's not going to come cheap.
