As the song goes, “It's raining men, hallelujah / It's raining men, every specimen / Tall, blonde, dark and lean / Rough and tough and strong and mean.” And possibly drunk. And probably kind of stupid.
An incident that occurred last weekend at Modern Auto Sales in Fort Myers, Florida, is making international headlines, after the owner, John DiLeonardo, posted surveillance video of it on social media. DiLeonardo did it because he’s looking for the man who fell out of the sky, to make sure he’s alright.

Police are looking for him to make him pay for the damage he caused to a black Chrysler 300 on whose roof he landed and possibly for trespassing. Damage was minimal, says DiLeonardo, but what the dude did sure was pretty stupid.

At the beginning of the week, DiLeonardo arrived to work and saw that the roof of one of their cars was dented, he explains for NBC affiliate WILX10. He went through surveillance video and found that, at some point the night before, a man in swimming trunks fell on it, slipped on the car and then casually walked away.

Apparently, it had rained that night so the car was too wet for police to collect fingerprints. The man left behind some sort of hearwear, but it’s probably of little use in tracking him down.

“The last thing we expected to see was somebody falling from the sky, landing on one of our cars,” DiLeonardo says. “It is amazing that this person didn’t get knocked unconscious. Why somebody would go off the front end of the roof, it makes no sense. Maybe they were just goofing around. I mean, that’s a pretty dangerous thing to do.”

The hilarious part is that there was a ladder at the other end of the roof, which the dude could have used without risking breaking his back or neck.

In video shared with WinkNews, also from the surveillance feed, the dude is seen entering the premises barefoot, with swimming goggles on and what looks like a wet bathing towel. He ditches the towel and takes one of the blankets staff use for stray cats, but somehow, he’s wearing a t-shirt when he lands on the Chrysler.

By the way, DiLeonardo says the Chrysler will be ok with minimal expenses, but he wants to make sure the same goes for the dude who dented it. Call the Florida police if you recognize him.
