Toyota Motor Sales US just posted a new press release stating that the company will unveil a more close-to-production version of the FCV hydrogen concept at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The reveal will feature the North America debut of the concept vehicle as well as an introduction to the fuel cell mule.

"This is going to be a big deal and CES is the biggest trade show in the world of any kind and it draws a global, tech-oriented audience," also said Toyota Motor Sales John Hanson last week. "It is a legitimate and logical launching pad for advanced technology in the automobile business."

So far, Toyota managed to tune up their previous hydrogen system to offer a range of 310 miles (500 km) on a single tank, which can then be filled up in a couple of minutes. The production costs have also been reduced from around $700,000 to about $70,000.
