More exciting drag races are coming in from dear old Russia and this time we’re about to watch three cars go at it with a total output of around 2,400 HP. That’s right, an average of 800 HP.
First up we’re taking a look at a race between a Stage 3 Evotech BMW F13 M6 and a Morendi-Weistec C63 AMG that is in no way any lesser in terms of power.

The Bimmer was taken from its stock 560 HP to a whopping 800 HP thanks to the work the guys from Evotech put in. Even so, it didn’t seem incredibly fast on the DragTimes Info strip being outgunned by the Merc to its side.

In case you were wondering, the C63 AMG has a bigger engine than the BMW in stock guise, using a 6.2-liter V8 compared to the 4.4 liters of the eight cylinders under the Bavarian’s bonnet. However, the Bimmer also has two turbochargers to help it out.

Leaving stock things aside, we should point out that the Merc in these images is also no longer stock and was tuned by Weistec to churn out 700 HP, a more than ‘decent’ figure.

In the end, it took a full-on race car to take down the Swabian, an American that should excel at drag racing anyway. I’m talking about a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that used to make in stock guise around 650 HP and 604 lb-ft (820 Nm) of torque out of a 6.2-liter supercharged V8.

This was no ordinary ZR1 though as the specs posted on the video’s description say that the car was tuned by IPS Motorsport and is now putting down 900 HP. Yes, you read that right. Check out how it performs in the video below.
