When you say “AC Schnitzer”, you say aftermarket conversion for vehicles using the BMW and MINI badges. However, things are more complex than that, as the German tuner also likes to offer us superb timepieces. The company’s latest development in this field is the Cronograph 3, a quartz creation.

Whether you’re counting miles per hour, laps in minutes or acceleration from zero to 100 in seconds: the relationship between speed and time is something special, and not just as a mathematical function. Its embodiment in the form of watches and cars follows similar principles be this technical refinement or a sense of aesthetic design. Perhaps that is why many people who appreciate a high quality watch also have a love of fast cars?,” stated the press release.

The body of the timepiece is made of brushed stainless steel, while the base is screwed, making the watch water-resistant (up to a pressure of 10 bar). The outer ring comes with a tachometer. The creation offers four “extra instruments” that count seconds, minutes and hours and show the date. The timepiece also comes with a stopwatch function, which can be controlled by two knobs above and below the winder.

The watch uses a leather wrist wrap with a black finish, which also comes with contrasting white stitching. The company also offers a night special function: all the indices on the face are made of superluminova (appliques and Arabic numerals), for easy reading at any time.

Resting on a velvet cushion in a sophisticated box, the Chronograph 3 is ideal as an exclusive gift,” stated the press release.
