Ever had a holiday approaching and stared at an empty list of things to shop for the loved ones or even for yourself? Don’t worry because everyone is rushing to present their own solutions to the conundrum. This includes Mopar, which even decided to make things easier by compiling a list on its own.
With Christmas and the New Year on a virtual collision course with a very troubled year, it’s time to cast aside our worries and cleanse our souls with a classic shopping spree. After all, you said for weeks on end "there’s still time" and now the clock is ticking - apparently faster than ever before.
Because of the global health situation, we’re always supporting safe shopping decisions – such as avoiding the killer traffic rush hour and the customary mall concourse in favor of online commerce. And because we’re inextricably linked to our automotive obsession, we couldn’t help but notice Mopar’s new “holiday gift ideas” list.
Sure, that Ugly Holiday Sweater (that’s the official name from Mopar) really is an eyesore, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find something to our liking. After all, the company went through the trouble of selecting 13 gift ideas (in hopes of expanding sales, obviously).
They are clearly not the ones to believe in jinxes, so we decided to have a look and give a shout out to our own favorites. The list is quite compelling and it goes from the smallest thing to something that will fit better in the garage, not under the Christmas tree. Naturally, the icing on the supercharged crate engine cake comes courtesy of the Hellcrate Redeye 6.2-liter Hemi V8 kit, delivering no less than 807 horsepower and 717 lb-ft (971 Nm) of oomph for “a mere” $21,807.
