Cyril Huze got wind on one of the niftiest events of the spring: Indian Motorcycles are finally going to reveal their all-new engine to the public.

The event will take place in Daytona, March 9th at 9 pm local time, at Dirty Harry’s bar on Main Street in Daytona Beach. This is the first public appearance of the new engine, after almost 2 years of development and all the recent taunting and teasing, involving sound samples, pictures of the crankshaft and the like.

With Polaris being the actual owner of Indian Motorcycles, it looks like this is the dawn of a new era. Even more, Polaris are gathering as much momentum as possible to enter a very serious fray with Harley-Davidson as the north star company is also pressing its other bike manufacturer Victory onto the Milwaukee guys and not only on American soil: this time it's India.

We're waiting for Cyril's pictures and first ears-on impressions on the new Indian engine.
