February 4th will see the initial airing of the first half hour episode of TT legends, an 8-piece all-new documentary series featuring Isle of Man Tourist Trophy stars John McGuinness, Cameron Donald and Simon Andrews.
The series will follow the Honda TT Legends team through the 2012 season and will cover more than the Mountain Course races. TT Legends will follow the riders, their teams and families through Bol d’Or, a 24-hour race at the Magny Cours circuit in France, Doha, Germany, Japan, for the Suzuka 8-Hour, and back to France for the Le Mans 24-hour.
Even more, the viewers will get the chance to meet the rider's families and friends, getting a better glimpse in their lives and what having a husband/ son riding 130+ mph (210 km/h) for a living. Aside from racing itself, TT Legends will also show aspects from the riders' private, individual lives far from the pressure of the high-revving engines.
The first TT Legends episode will be broadcast on ITV4 ar 8:30pm (UK time) on Monday, February 4.
