Although Lexus’ smallest vehicle in the range, the CT 200h, is a well thought vehicle, perfect as a daily driver, the hatchback managed to find only 17,000 US owners in 2012 after a year from its launch.
So, the automaker left it somehow behind, concentrating on fully refreshing the IS, GS and LS models. But then, these two images surfaced recently, claiming to be leaked images of the future facelifted CT 200h.
Also, speaking with Lexus Australia chief Sean Hanley, The Motor Report found out that the CT 200h model still represents a good opportunity and that the automaker is looking forward to release a facelift model in early 2014, while a fully redone model could be on the market around 2016.
The CT 200h depicted here appears to be the F Sport model, wearing pretty much the same spindle grille design with 2 extra vents you can see now on the 2014 Lexus IS F Sport. It also has slightly redesigned side skirts and considerably larger five double-spoked rims.
