The images shown below are “almost definitely” of the 2015 Ford Mustang! This is what the guys over at Car & Driver claim and they’ve also put together a 360 degree view of the sixth-generation musclecar.
Rendered based on insider information, the 2015 Mustang “will keep the somewhat hefty proportion of its predecessor”, while “exterior dimensions will shrink ever so slightly”. Car & Driver also points out that the Mustang “will cease to have stand-alone styling within Ford’s lineup”. Inside, the new pony will reportedly get either the traditional stereo and HVAC controls or Ford’s next-gen MyFord Touch interface.
More info on the 2015 Mustang will become available in Car & Driver’s December issue, as revealed by the magazine’s cover, but make sure you stick around for new details on the pony that’s scheduled to be introduced at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January.
Our say: There are tens of renderings of the 2015 Mustang "running" around the Internet nowadays, but we have a feeling Car&Driver's take on the musclecar is the most accurate. They did the same thing with the 2014 Corvette Stingray and they were spot on.
